Welcome to Aegis, the gateway to the Realm.

For centuries, the city has stood tall and provided protection from strife to refugees from the barren region known as the Forsaken Lands. Behind its mighty walls lie an important multicultural center of trade as well as fertile lands and trade routes.

Nowadays, disturbing reports of activity within the Forsaken Lands come to the Chancellor’s desk seemingly every day. Under a dark tutelage, a powerful force known as the Blight has risen and darkness is threatening Aegis, both within and outside its walls. Were the city to fall, the entirety of the Realm might be next.

Edge of Darkness is a unique blend of shared-deck-building, card-crafting, and worker placement. As the head of a Guild, dispatch your agents to different locations, use contacts to do your bidding and relentlessly hunt threats of the Blight. You hold the fate of Aegis in your hands. For it to endure, three Guilds must fall and one must rise.
