Humans have all but disappeared and nature has made a dramatic comeback; animals have evolved. Cats, dogs, rats, and more are standing (on all fours) at the dawn of a new Middle Ages. The world is filled with the miracle of meowgic and the technology of the past. There’s nothing strange about seeing a tunnel-digging rat with a home-made headlamp, a magician cat casting a spell to make it rain, or a dog plating the tough guy in armor made of tires.
