Here's a neat trick. This twelve-sided die is actually a d4! It is numbered 1 through 4, so it acts just like a four-sided die, but it rolls a lot more smoothly across the table. As an extra bonus, it has no pointy sides. Traditional d4s are hazardous when they find their way to the floor, but these won't impale your poor feet!
